We are looking for an Usability and Accessibility Expert to work from one of ICF Next's client's premises.
The Usability and Accessibility Expert is responsible for ensuring that digital products are accessible and provide a seamless user experience for all users, including individuals with disabilities. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to implement best practices in usability and accessibility throughout the product lifecycle.
This position requires ongoing collaboration with design, development, and quality assurance teams, as well as engagement with internal stakeholders involved in project delivery and accessibility initiatives. The expert may also collaborate with external partners or consultants to support compliance with accessibility standards and the effective implementation of best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role plays a critical part in supporting the delivery of high‑quality, inclusive digital products that meet diverse user needs.
Task 1: Usability Testing and AnalysisThe expert is responsible for planning and conducting comprehensive usability testing activities to evaluate the effectiveness and accessibility of digital products. This includes collecting and analysing user feedback, documenting findings, and working with design and development teams to implement improvements that enhance user experience and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
Task 2: Accessibility Education and AdvocacyThe expert contributes to building accessibility awareness across teams by developing educational materials, delivering training sessions, and promoting inclusive design principles. The objective is to support a culture where accessibility is understood, prioritised, and embedded in digital product development practices.
