We are Loop

Loop Earplugs is reinventing how people experience the world by enabling them to live life at their own volume. 2024 was a pivotal year at Loop – we hit 14,000,000 earplugs sold, were named 'The Best Earplugs for Concerts' by The New York Times, and expanded our product offering to a complete range of solutions for day and night. Oh – and not to mention making history as the first company to win Deloitte's Fast 50 Belgium twice.

But this is just the beginning. As we continue to develop disruptive products, we're constantly on the lookout for the next big idea - and building a team who can make it happen.

Being a Looper means making a difference. Whatever your role, this is your stage to make a real impact and bring your ideas to life. Better yet, you'll join a fast-growing, global team of 250+ people who are passionate, down-to-earth and eager to tackle challenges together.

Work that cuts through the noise? Hear us out.
Own Loop's retail channel and build a brand-accretive omnichannel business

Loop is evolving from a single-channel DTC brand into an omnichannel company. The Head of Retail owns the strategy, build-out, and scaling of Loop's retail channel through this transition.

Working closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, this role co-creates the long-term retail vision and is accountable for ensuring retail delivers profitable growth while strengthening Loop's brand through where and how it shows up in physical retail. The Head of Retail will lead early retail pilots in the US and UK and scale the channel globally based on proven commercial, brand, and operational results.

The role

You own Loop's retail channel end to end — from strategy and partner selection through to operating model design and scale decisions. You are accountable for setting direction, defining success criteria, and building the organizational capability required to scale retail responsibly.

The focus is on disciplined validation before scale, ensuring retail formats, partner choices, and execution standards support long-term brand equity and sustainable economics.

What you'll do (and what you don't)
You will:
  • Own Loop's retail strategy, including retail partner selection, expansion sequencing, and investment allocation
  • Lead retail pilots with a select group of partners in the US and UK
  • Ensure retail pilots align with Loop's brand positioning, customer experience standards, and long-term brand equity
  • Define clear success criteria for pilots across commercial performance, brand impact, and operational feasibility
  • Use pilot results to inform decisions on scaling, refining, or exiting retail partnerships
  • Scale retail by deepening high-performing partnerships and adding new partners in the US and UK based on validated results and brand fit
  • Develop the roadmap and readiness criteria for EU retail expansion from 2027 onward
  • Build and lead Loop's Retail team from scratch, setting clear ownership, capability expectations, and leadership standards
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and People to ensure the organization is set up to support retail growth
  • You won't:
  • Scale retail ahead of validated results
  • Compromise brand standards or customer experience expectations
  • Treat retail expansion as independent from broader organizational readiness
  • How you'll succeed

You succeed by building a retail channel that delivers incremental contribution margin and revenue growth, validates markets and partners with speed and quality, and prepares the organization to scale retail globally.

    What you'll bring
  • Proven experience building and scaling a retail channel from near-zero within a rapidly scaling brand
  • Direct experience negotiating and managing senior relationships with large retail partners (e.g. Target, Boots, InMotion or comparable global retailers)
  • Strong ability to translate a digital-first brand into physical retail while maintaining premium positioning
  • Deep understanding of retail and wholesale economics, including margin structures, trade spend, inventory planning, and forecasting
  • Experience with retail merchandising, POS storytelling, and co-op marketing programs
  • Background in premium, high-margin consumer categories such as designed consumer hardware, audio tech, eyewear, beauty, or similar
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading teams in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments
  • Strong strategic judgment and disciplined, data-informed decision-making
  • Geographic flexibility to be based in either Europe or the US
  • Why Loop

At Loop, we focus on work that matters and build with intent. This role works closely with senior leadership and plays a critical part in shaping how Loop shows up in physical retail as the business enters its next phase of growth.
