<\/div> Now, we are looking for a Junior Safety superviso<\/b>r <\/b>in our office Mechelen.
<\/div>
<\/div> As a Junior Safety Supervisor On -Site, you will support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards directly on site, working under the guidance of senior safety staff or the Project Manager. This role is designed for someone eager to learn, gain on -site experience and develop professionally within safety and prevention.
<\/div>
<\/b><\/div> What is the role About?<\/b>
<\/b><\/div>
<\/div>
• Supporting the identification and follow -up of on -site safety issues, escalating complex situations when required.
<\/div>
• Assisting in interventions related to unsafe conditions, including work at height and incorrect use of fall protection, ensuring proper reporting and follow -up.
<\/div>
• Supporting situations where works are pressured to continue under unsafe conditions, ensuring concerns are documented and escalated.
<\/div>
• Participating in site inspections, safety walks and audits, identifying hazards and deviations.
<\/div>
• Assisting with risk assessments, permits to work and method statements.
<\/div>
• Gaining practical exposure to site activities such as work at height, scaffolding, excavation works and sloping (talutering) at a basic level.
<\/div>
• Supporting incident and near -miss reporting and contributing to a proactive safety culture on site.

Requirements<\/h3>
• Education in Health & Safety, Risk Prevention, HSE, Industrial Safety, or a related field
<\/div>
• Initial experience in on -site safety supervision, construction, or industrial environments.
<\/div>
• Certification as Prevention Advisor Level 2 or Level 3 will be considered a plus.
<\/div>
• Knowledge of Let's Build is an advantage.
<\/div>
• Experience or basic understanding of the following is valuable:
<\/div> - Work at height
<\/div> - Scaffolding
<\/div> - Excavation and earthworks
<\/div> - Sloping / talus works
<\/div>
• Strong ability to react immediately to unsafe situations, demonstrating sound judgement and effective communication skills.
<\/div>
• Ability to follow instructions and appropriately escalate safety concerns.
<\/div>
• Availability to work on -site and willingness to travel depending on project needs.
<\/div>
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is considered an asset.
