Maintenance Technician E&I

What will you do?
As Maintenance Technician E&I you are responsible for the maintenance, repairs and optimization of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
 
Your tasks will include:
 
  • Repairs and testing of equipment and components in the workshop
  • Troubleshooting & maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Performing field work: replacing equipment, loop testing, switching distribution devices, etc.
  • Electrical safeguarding of equipment according to LOTO procedures
  • Supervising external contractors for specialist maintenance
  • Actively contributing to safety through correct application of procedures and rules
  • Participating in the E&I on-call service (first line)
 
Who are you?
You have a technical background: degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering or another relevant technical direction
Preferably already some years of experience in a similar function within the (petro-)chemistry
 
You have knowledge of:
  • Industrial low voltage installations
  • Electrical plan reading & PLC controls
  • HART protocol & instrumentation
  • Pneumatic equipment & failure analysis
  • ATEX zones and European directives
  • Certificates: BA4/BA5, VCA, AWP license
  • Language skills: fluent in Dutch/English
  • Personality: accurate, technically savvy and safety conscious
