Our client is a privately owned business and has been active in the market for more than 30 years and is part of a larger group of 300 employees.
The company specializes in technically complex HVAC and sanitary installations for public and private clients across Flanders.
From the Antwerp office, the team consists of:
7 white-collar employees (engineering & office staff)
25 blue-collar technicians (on-site installation teams)
Due to strong growth, several new positions have been created to support the next stage of development. This is a crucial moment in the company's evolution toward further maturity and expansion.
The organization works on high-level classified projects (Category/Class 8) and operates within a structured, safety-focused (VCA**) environment.
For them, we are looking for a project engineer who will work 4 days a week from the office in Antwerpen.
This is a newly created position due to company growth.
As Project Engineer, you are responsible for the full technical preparation of HVAC and sanitary projects after the sales phase. You ensure projects are technically correct, optimized, and ready for execution.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze specifications, measurement sheets, plans and contracts
Perform technical calculations and determine system configurations
Fully elaborate HVAC and sanitary project files
Select materials and equipment within defined budgets
Prepare and manage technical documentation
Request, compare and place supplier orders
Coordinate with suppliers and internal colleagues
Support project handover to execution
Occasional site visits for technical alignment
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Projects can reach up to €7 million and are technically complex.
Candidate Profile
Master's degree (required) in:
Electromechanics
Energy
HVAC / Climate systems
Construction engineering
Or equivalent technical field
Junior profiles are welcome, provided they hold the right Master's degree
Strong analytical and calculation skills
Solid technical understanding of HVAC systems
Structured, precise and methodical
Comfortable working mainly from the office
Communicative and team-oriented
Offer
Salary range: €4,000 – €6,000 gross per month (depending on experience)
