Product Specialist

To support our future growth within the Immersive Experience business unit, we are looking for a Product Specialist Simulation.

You are responsible to support internal stakeholders and the partners/customers with expert know-how on those Barco products addressing the training and simulation market. As the liaison between Sales and Product Management/marketing, you also collect key customers and user insights and feed them back to the product base 

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the product value propositions and technical product features and effectively communicate them to (pre)sales teams and customers.  
• Build expertise on competitive products and share relevant insights with the product management team.
• Maintain and update sales tools to ensure they remain accurate and useful.
• Produce technical documents or product videos addressing key product capabilities frequently asked questions.
• Be the technical lead for trade shows and customer-facing events.
• Organize and facilitate internal product shoot-outs.
• Develop demo guidelines, demo scripts and content to help sales and presales teams demonstrate the product effectively.
• Evaluate, understand, and document third-party peripherals.

Your profile

• You hold a technical degree combined with a minimum of 2 years professional experience in a technical environment.
• You have a strong technical skill set (knowledge of display technology is an asset)
• You have a customer experience mindset in all you do and you put customer success first.
• You are a team player and you have the ability to communicate clearly with the different stakeholders.
• You like to present to an audience, are good at interacting with people and are curious for new ideas.
• You are willing to travel up to 20% of your time
