About you and this role
We are looking for you, an ambitious master's student, to support our Personal Care Technical Service & Development Team located in Seneffe (BELGIUM) by doing an internship project aiming at formulating and evaluating combinations of specific cosmetic raw material ingredients for skin imperfections masking benefit.
With a strong background in Formulation and Material Sciences, you will evaluate different polymers combinations and study their optical benefits in skin care anhydrous and aqueous formulations. You will first conduct a comprehensive literature search to become familiar with what has been done in the field. You will use in vitro and in vivo test methods available in house to evaluate different cosmetic blends and finished formulations for the targeted benefit. You will develop new formulations aligned with market trends and evaluate their performance in application. During the study, you will use relevant analytical tools and testing procedures to measure the performance of the different products and formulations.
The department that will welcome you is the Personal Care Technical Service & Development Team. With deep market insights and in-depth application expertise, we provide technical support to customers and develop innovative solutions that address current and future customer demands. We focus on the development of sustainable solutions that provide skin and hair care benefits. You will work in a multifunctional team and will interact with colleagues in different regions.

You are currently studying for a master's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Material Sciences or Formulation. Preferably you have education and/or experience in cosmetics.
