DESCRIPTION:
The AI/ML Business Analyst & Data Specialist will be responsible for collecting business requirements, analysing advanced AI solutions, and contributing to the full lifecycle of data‑driven projects. This role bridges business stakeholders, data scientists, and IT teams to design, evaluate, and implement machine learning, data mining, and analytics solutions. The specialist will ensure compliance with GDPR and emerging AI regulations while participating in the design of data architectures, user interfaces, and intelligent systems. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced knowledge in AI/ML methods, and experience working in large, multicultural environments.
Tasks:
· Collect and document business requirements; analyse business models and processes.
· Evaluate AI/ML, data mining, and BI solutions; analyse large datasets for insights.
· Contribute to analytics architecture design (performance, physical, capacity)
· Participate in design of NLP/ML/AI architecture incl. metadata & master data
· Contribute to data management vision/strategy and derive IT requirements.
· Design mock‑ups and user interfaces with strong UX focus.
· Support UAT activities.
· Facilitate communication between business, data scientists, IT developers.
· Liaise with project teams for cross‑project dependencies.
· Interact with data stewards & IT stakeholders.
· Ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
· Ability to work in multicultural environments.
· Produce documentation and collaborate across IT, data science, and business teams.
Mandatory minimum requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field
· At least 17 years of experience in IT
· Excellent knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, and Large Language Models.
· Knowledge in one of the following areas: predictive (forecasting, recommendation), prescriptive (simulation), sentiment analysis, topic detection, social media crawling and processing, plagiarism detection, trends/anomalies detection in datasets, recommendation systems.
· Knowledge of Graph Databases.
· Knowledge of application UI/UX design.
Desirable requirements:
· Knowledge of NLP systems, Agile methodologies, and big‑data analytics.
· Experience with unstructured databases, data lakes, and scalable data stores.
· Proficiency in modelling tools (UML, BPMN, ER diagrams).
· Programming: Python, R, PERL; SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, Hadoop).
· Strong communication, critical thinking, documentation, and presentation skills.
· Ability to work in multicultural environments; English C1 + French B1.
