What You'll Do

• Coordinate the shared service center's GL accounting, assuring the correct reporting and closing activities
• Responsible for VAT and tax reporting
• Update and control the IFRS accounts in the internal leasing package
• Close cooperation with shared service center and purchase team for postings, cost allocations, customer and vendor payments
• Preparation and filing of monthly and annual reporting packages for local and global management
• Prepare and coordinates the internal and external audit, annual account
• Understand and update the accounting flows to close correctly and report in time
• Support controlling team for budget/forecast

What You'll Need

• Minimum a bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• You have 5-6 years of experience in accounting with a strong involvement in vat/tax reporting preferably in an international environment
• Strong experience in Belgian VAT reporting
• SAP knowledge
• Experience dealing in month/year end closings
• Proactive, hands-on approach to project management
• A flexible mindset, and a positive attitude, able to evolve in a dynamic corporate environment
• Work accurate, in detail and independent
• Experience implementing processes and control environments
• A team player and analytical problem solver
• Fluency in Dutch and English
