Senior IT Project Manager

For one of our clients we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager

General conditions:

• Start date: end of March, 2026

• Location: Brussels, telework is allowed, to be discussed with the manager

• Key skills:

  • min 5 years as Senior IT Project Manager in complex IT environments,

  • experience with enterprise IT infrastructure projects (not just application or business projects),

  • Belgian energy market,

  • projects on Azure

• Duration: 12 months+ (possibility of extension)

• Languages: fluent Dutch or French

• Contract: B2B via Mind

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager who will play a crucial role in structuring, directing and successfully delivering the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the outsourcing of the management of our central IT infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with technical experts such as architects, engineers and security specialists, and act as the link between the internal and external teams. You will be responsible for setting up the project structure and organization in accordance with the guidelines and processes, and you will coordinate the editing of the RFP. In addition, you will ensure effective communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders, monitor quality, scope, budget, and deadlines, and manage the achievement of sprint goals and milestones.
Core activities:
• Establishing the project structure and organization according to guidelines and processes.
• Coordinating the drafting of the RFP.
• Coordinating all project stakeholders in their roles in the project.
• Developing and executing the communications plan.
• Monitoring quality, scope, budget, and deadlines.
• Managing deadlines, sprint goals, and milestones.
• Identifying and resolving risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinating documentation.
