Sales Intern

Position overview
We are looking for a motivated Sales Intern to join our office in Brussels for a 6-month internship. In this role, you will support the sales and commercial team in developing client relationships, identifying business opportunities and promoting DeHavilland's products and services to public affairs professionals across Brussels.
This internship is ideal for someone interested in sales, business development and European affairs, and who is keen to start a career in the Brussels policy and public affairs ecosystem from a commercial perspective.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Supporting the sales team with lead generation and prospect research
Maintaining and updating CRM systems with client and market information
Assisting in the preparation of sales materials, presentations and proposals
Supporting outreach activities, including email campaigns and follow-ups
Helping coordinate client meetings, demos and events
Monitoring market trends and identifying potential new clients or sectors
Supporting senior colleagues as required during sales cycles
Participating actively in team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
Have a relevant degree or be currently studying business, economics, political science, European studies, marketing or a related field
Demonstrate a strong interest in sales, business development or commercial strategy
Have an interest in European affairs, public policy or the Brussels environment
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency required)
Be proactive, curious and eager to learn
Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to integrate into a multicultural team
Additional EU languages are an asset
