Business Process Expert

We are seeking a Business Process Expert to design and optimize business models, pro-

cesses, and capability frameworks. The expert will coordinate the application of archi-

tecture standards with junior colleagues and contribute to the implementation of enter-

prise architecture across EU Commission projects.

The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills to work across teams, influ-

ence organizational change, and ensure alignment with EU governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, model, and optimize business processes and organizational capabilities.

• Coordinate the application of enterprise architecture standards with junior ex-

perts.

• Contribute to enterprise architecture implementation across EU Commission IT

systems.

• Conduct risk analysis, process assessment, and support organizational change

initiatives.

• Build long-term professional relationships across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s degree in pedagogics, public administration, communication, market-

ing, or social sciences, OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years relevant professional

experience.

• Fluent in English (C1); strong French (B2) is an asset.

• Professional certification in Business Architecture (e.g., BPMN, BP CBOK, TOGAF,

ARIS).

• Proven ability to work across teams and use interpersonal skills to build profes-

sional relationships.

• Knowledge of business process management in EU IT systems is an asset.

• Understanding of EU administrative rules, procurement, and contract manage-

ment is an asset.• Familiarity with EU Commission is a plus.

Professional Experience

General:

• Minimum 8 years in Business Process Management and Governance.

Specific:

• At least 8 years in business process analysis, modeling, optimization, risk assess-

ment, and organizational change management.

• Experience as Business Process Consultant or Solution Architect on 5+ large-

scale projects.

• Hands-on experience with process modelling tools such as Aris, Archi, or Enter-

prise Architect.
