HR Generalist


HR Generalist About the Role For a dynamic and growing organization located in Flemish Brabant , we are currently looking for a hands-on HR Generalist who enjoys combining both Hard HR (Payroll & HR Administration) and Soft HR (Recruitment & Talent Management) .

This is a varied and impactful role for someone who likes autonomy, responsibility, and being close to the business.

You will support employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle while ensuring accurate payroll coordination and compliance with Belgian social legislation.

Your Responsibilities Hard HR
  • Coordinate and validate monthly payroll in collaboration with the social secretariat

  • Manage HR administration (contracts, amendments, absences, time tracking, benefits)

  • Ensure compliance with Belgian labor law and social legislation

  • Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation

  • Support compensation & benefits processes

Soft HR
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes (intake, sourcing, interviews, offer stage)

  • Write and publish job descriptions

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs

  • Conduct interviews and candidate assessments

  • Support onboarding and employee engagement initiatives

  • Contribute to employer branding projects
HR Projects & Process Improvement

  • Participate in HR projects such as HR digitalization, policy updates, and process optimization

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR procedures and best practices

  • Support the rollout of new HR tools or systems

  • Monitor and improve HR workflows to enhance efficiency and employee experience

  • Ensure continuous improvement of HR processes in line with company growth

Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar function

  • Solid knowledge of Belgian payroll and social legislation

  • Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition

  • Fluent in Dutch and French (mandatory), good command of English

  • Structured, discreet and detail-oriented

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proactive, solution-driven and business-minded
