Business and Functional Analyst

Our client, a significant organization within the public sector, is looking for a professional to join their multidisciplinary IT department. The role focuses on automating social security processes for the self-employed within an agile environment.

• Gather, analyze, and translate business and user needs into clear functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, story mapping sessions, and design thinking exercises to clarify processes.
• Analyze system flows and identify optimization opportunities to present to business stakeholders.
• Draft detailed functional specifications, including
  UML
  diagrams, data models, and
  API
  specifications.
• Develop user stories with clear functional acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner for backlog prioritization based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Support developers and testers during design, development, and validation phases.

What are we looking for?

• You have 5+ years of experience in
  business and functional analysis
  .
• You bring 3+ years of experience working within
  Agile/Scrum
  methodologies and ceremonies.
• You possess experience with
  UML
  ,
  BPMN
  , and
  Sparx Enterprise Architect
  .
• You have experience with
  SQL queries
  and
  relational/logical database modeling
  .
• You possess experience with
  API analysis (REST/SOAP)
  ,
  XML
  , and
  web services
  .
• You bring experience providing support for
  End-To-End testing
  .
• You have a Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
• You are native
  Dutch
  with active knowledge of
  French
  and passive knowledge of
  English
  .
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills.
• You're a strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and business profiles.
