Semetis offers a minimum 4-month internship (16 weeks) during:

Who we are

Semetis is a data-driven media agency and Belgian market leader in Digital Advertising and Digital Business Intelligence. Founded in 2009 by early Google Belgium employees, we joined the international Omnicom Group in 2015.

We advise clients in:

• Search engine advertising
• Programmatic display & video
• Social media advertising
• Local & retail media
• Digital analytics & measurement
• Data architecture and digital business intelligence

We are fully accredited by Google, Microsoft Advertising and Adobe.

What you will do

During your internship, you’ll work closely with experienced colleagues and support real clients. Your responsibilities include both day-to-day campaign work (≈80%) and internal project-based learning (≈20%).

Day-to-day responsibilities (≈80%)

You’ll help our teams monitor and improve digital campaigns by:

• Following up on running campaigns and identifying opportunities or anomalies
• Performing account health checks based on industry best practices
• Suggesting optimisations to help clients reach their business objectives
• Contributing to quality assurance through structured review processes
• Creating dashboards to monitor campaign performance

These tasks will help you build strong digital marketing fundamentals with hands-on guidance.

Project work (≈20%)

You will also contribute to broader company initiatives, such as:

• Improving website or training content
• Supporting internal knowledge-sharing projects
• Helping deliver a pro bono mission for an NGO together with one of our consultants
• Participating in cross-team improvement or impact initiatives

Who we’re looking for

We welcome applicants from different academic backgrounds, including management, business, marketing, communication, economics, IT or related fields.

You’re a great fit if you:

• Are currently enrolled in a master’s program in Belgium: management, business, marketing, communication, economics, IT or related fields
• Are available for a full-time internship of at least 4 months (flexible arrangements possible depending on school requirements)
• Are eager to learn and motivated by solving problems
• Enjoy collaborating with others and contributing to team projects
• Can organise your work and meet deadlines
• Be fluent in English & either French or Dutch
• Are curious about digital marketing and data—even if you don’t have prior experience
