Chemical Process Manager - Research and Innovation M/V/X


Beschrijving van de functie Our client is a global leader in advanced materials and chemical solutions, actively investing in research and innovation to drive major technological breakthroughs. As part of a strategic transformation, the company is building a brand-new Process Intensification team within its Research & Innovation department. Jobomschrijving - Build, lead, and mentor a global team of process intensification experts (scientists & engineers). - Provide technical guidance and coaching to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence. - Identify, evaluate, and develop process intensification technologies that reduce energy consumption and CAPEX. - Lead the design and improvement of critical process equipment (reactors, separation technologies, heat integration, etc.). - Translate research insights into industrial solutions and future plant concepts. - Ensure projects follow stringent process safety and engineering standards. - Work closely with internal engineering teams, R&I groups, plant operations, and global business units. - Collaborate with external partners such as universities, research centres, and technology suppliers. - Drive cross-functional decision-making and communicate technical insights effectively. - Oversee a portfolio of innovation and development projects in process intensification. - Ensure technical milestones, timelines, and safety requirements are met. - Contribute to building internal methodologies, best practices, and technical frameworks for process intensification. - Promote knowledge sharing across global teams.
