Privileged Access Management Lead


The Security Governance & Investigations team protects and its interests. We lead Cyber Security efforts, covering governance, architecture, management, and incident response.

Within the Digital Identity and Access Governance team, we are looking for a highly motivated Privileged Access Management Lead to join and reinforce the team. You will own and drive the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of (R)PAM capabilities. This role combines strategic leadership, change management, and deep technical expertise in privileged access technologies, with a strong focus on CyberArk.


Your tasks


• As (R)PAM Lead, you act as the end-to-end owner of the (R)PAM process, translating business needs and risk priorities into pragmatic solutions while coordinating stakeholders across business, IT, and security teams.

• You define and drive the (R)PAM strategy and roadmap, including documenting the AS-IS landscape, defining the TO-BE target architecture, and leading the transformation journey.

• You translate security and compliance requirements into practical (R)PAM controls and processes aligned with risk appetite and regulatory expectations.

• You establish metric dashboards, KPIs, and reporting, adapting communication to technical teams and executive management.

• You drive organizational change management related to (R)PAM adoption, ensuring smooth onboarding of business units and operational teams.

• You lead the design, implementation, and optimization of privileged access solutions, with a strong focus on CyberArk within the identity and access management ecosystem.

• You act as the functional and technical lead for (R)PAM initiatives, coordinating internal teams, vendors, and partners.

• You continuously assess threats, risks, and maturity levels in privileged access management and build prioritized improvement plans.

• You contribute to incident investigations and root cause analysis related to privileged access misuse.

• You follow market trends and emerging technologies in identity and privileged access security to evolve the long-term strategy.

• You support audits and compliance initiatives related to identity and access management.


Your profile


• You have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or in Cyber Security (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with 5+ years of experience in cyber security with strong focus on (remote) privileged access management.

• Strong understanding of (R)PAM architecture, identity governance, secure remote access, and enterprise IT environments.

• Proven experience with CyberArk (design, deployment, operations, or architecture). Relevant CyberArk certifications are a plus.

• Having knowledge in Citrix, Azure entitlement package and Azure PIM is clearly a plus.

• Experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes with demonstrated ability in change management and adoption of (R)PAM controls in large organizations.

• You are able to communicate effectively with both IT and business people about Cyber Security matters using strong interpersonal skills, mixing collaboration & communication skills, constructive assertiveness, and negotiation skills to convince others of the importance of Cyber Security.

• You have an analytical mindset to build a helicopter view but are also able to dig in the details with great learning agility whenever required.

• You have strong ability to detect security risks, propose/assess how to minimize them and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders using written and presentation skills.

• Proven coordination, change and project management skills are a must.

• Having Certification(s) like CISSP, CISM, ISO27k Lead Implementer, … is(are) a plus.

• Fluent in Dutch or French and English.
