(Junior) Performance Management Consultant

To further expand our element61 Performance Management team, we are looking for a (Junior) Financial Performance Management Consultant with a focus on financial reporting, consolidation and/or planning, budgeting and forecasting. Successful candidates show a great interest in management reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and planning as well as an eagerness to implement software solutions supporting the office of the CFO.

You will join our Performance Management Competence Center, a highly respected team with in-depth knowledge in all aspects of supporting the various financial reporting and planning processes with market-leading software solutions.

Your role

Your role offers you the opportunity to develop and expand your knowledge while collaborating with and learning from experienced colleagues. You will work across a variety of exciting customer environments.

You will receive adequate training where you will have the opportunity to learn a to work with leading technologies from our portfolio of performance management solutions, such as CCH Tagetik, Prophix, Vena, SAP (Analytics Cloud or Group Reporting) and Anaplan.

Working closely with our clients, you will guide them through the entire implementation process — from facilitating requirements analysis, design, and build phases to go-live and beyond — including defining future enhancements and delivering user training.

You will be surrounded by the most experienced CPM colleagues that will guide and support you to work on financial reporting projects. You will get the opportunity to get acquainted with various businesses and industries in which you will contribute to the user requirements gathering, the design, modelling & implementation leading CPM solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Participating in requirements gathering workshops
• Developing the functional and technical design, as such meeting the specific customer context and requirements
• Implement performance management solutions together with a team of skilled peers and with the customer
• Engage with the customer to organize and participate in knowledge transfer and training of end-users
• Guide and coach customers throughout the implementation process up to the acceptance and go-live
• Participate in knowledge sharing and development, creation and exchange of best practices

Your Profile

• You recently graduated and hold a university degree in finance and/or accounting, economics or a similar discipline OR you have been working in a financial reporting role between 1 and 3 years (FP&A role, Audit, Financial Controller, Consolidator, ...).
• You are interested in the domain of financial planning and analysis and/or management reporting and consolidation.
• You are eager to learn how to implement a leading perfromance management tool.
• You have good presentation and interpersonal skills.
• You combine excellent communication and listening skills and demonstrate leadership capability within a business context.
• You possess strong conceptual, methodical and analytical capabilities.
• You are a problem-solver and can easily adapt to a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Fluency in English is favourable. French or Dutch is your native language.
