For an European institution in Brussels, Belgium, we are looking for an Enterprise Java Architect - Relocation to Brussels. <\/div>

Candidates need to be based in Belgium or willing to relocate to Brussels when coming from abroad. <\/div>

Candidates need to be fluent in English. A work permit is required, but not provided. This position is open for contractors. <\/div>

Tasks and Responsibilities:<\/b> <\/div>
Manage the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs, acquiring and using the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality; <\/span><\/li>
Prepare and maintain project and quality plans, tracking activities against the plan and providing regular and accurate reports; <\/span><\/li>
Manage the change control procedure, gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors; <\/span><\/li>
Create, maintain, prioritize, and sequence the product backlog based on business value and return on investment; <\/span><\/li>
Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with users; <\/span><\/li>
Collaborate with Business Owners and Users to collect requirements and use cases; <\/span><\/li>
Analyze and develop the integration of different information systems; <\/span><\/li>
Create business architecture models that align with the organization's strategies and goals; <\/span><\/li>
Provide guidance on business architecture and systems processing; <\/span><\/li>
Produce software architecture documentation; <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

Profile:<\/b> <\/div>
Master's Degree in IT; <\/span><\/li>
+13 years of experience in IT; <\/span><\/li>
Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies such as PM2 and Agile; <\/span><\/li>
Solid knowledge and understanding of Business analysis and functional analysis; <\/span><\/li>
Proficiency in Business Process Modeling and UML; <\/span><\/li>
Strong knowledge of secure application design and development; <\/span><\/li>
Experience with Java tools and frameworks: Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate; <\/span><\/li>
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web services (WSDL, SOAP, REST, etc.); <\/span><\/li>
Familiarity with Front -end frameworks: Grails, Angular, JQuery, Bootstrap or similar; <\/span><\/li>
Experience with Continuous integration: Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Bamboo, Fisheye, Crucible, JUnit or similar; <\/span><\/li>
