Your role
In this role, you are responsible for the full product safety lifecycle of the chemical, food and feed products we source and distribute globally. You combine regulatory knowledge with practical risk-based decision-making and act as a trusted partner for internal stakeholders across operations, procurement, sales and logistics.

What will you do?
· You assess and document product, regulatory and business risks across the product lifecycle.
· You perform product risk assessments for chemical, food and feed products.
· You review, manage and validate Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
· You work with stakeholders across our affiliates to make quality policies easy to understand and implement, leveraging local capabilities to optimize and accelerate assessments without compromising our risk exposure.
· You ensure correct CLP classification, labeling and hazard communication.
· You monitor and interpret evolving legislation (EU and non-EU) and translate it into clear, actionable guidance.
· You provide expert advice on chemical, food & feed and product safety regulations, including REACH, CLP and food & feed legislation.
· You support and advise on dangerous goods compliance (ADR, IMDG, IATA) in close cooperation with logistics and operations.
· You manage country-specific registrations, notifications and regulatory reporting.
· You support feasibility studies and new business initiatives from a product safety and compliance perspective.
Your profile
· You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or a related field.
· You ideally have around 5 years of experience in product safety, chemical regulatory affairs or a similar role.
· You have solid working knowledge of CLP and SDS management.
· Experience with REACH, food & feed regulations and/or dangerous goods (ADR, IMDG, IATA) is a strong asset.
· Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks such as TSCA or Eurasia is a plus.
· You are fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish, Mandarim, Portuguese and Dutch is an asset but not required.
· You communicate clearly and work effectively with international stakeholders.
· You are structured, analytical and pragmatic, with a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset.
What we offer
· A varied and impactful role in an international trading environment.
· Close collaboration with experienced colleagues in an open and supportive company culture.
· An attractive salary package including a company car, meal vouchers, hospitalization and group insurance, a mobile phone with subscription and a collective annual bonus.
· A hybrid working model with up to two days of homeworking per week.
· Plenty of opportunities for professional development, learning and growth.
