Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities
we are looking for an ICT Business Analyst with broad experience in data mapping and modeling, and process optimization.
The flow and mapping of the data from the WildinZicht app of ANB to the fauna management page of INBO regularly has problems or issues that delay the flow in the event of revisions or adjustments. This project involves the analysis of which bottlenecks arise in the flow of data. In addition to a bottleneck analysis, the contractor will also have to propose possible solutions.
The purpose of the assignment is 3 parts:
Identify bottlenecks in processes
Translate them into standards and governance
Identify
optimization opportunities in the development and testing processes Requirements for participation:
Demonstrable experience in general business operations with application in the field of ICT.
Demonstrable experience with development and optimization of business processes (BPM)
Demonstrable experience with stakeholder management
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the various Project Management facets (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.
Must Have
Demonstrable experience in general business operations with ICT application
Demonstrable experience with data mapping and modelling
Proven experience with business process development and optimization (BPM)
Proven experience with SQL
Demonstrable experience as an Analyst
Language requirement: Dutch at CEFR level C2
Should Have
Demonstrable experience within the Flemish Government
Proven experience interpreting ETL processes, drafting Source‑to‑Target Mappings (S2T), and enforcing coherence across multiple data streams
Proven experience with process optimization, focusing on identifying and quantifying data flows through bottlenecks in complex workflows
Demonstrable experience with stakeholder management
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of project management facets (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)
Nice to Have
Affinity with wildlife management and hunting game data.
