Operations manager


As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating strategy into execution:
You ensure the seamless coordination of people ( 20 FTE's) , processes, and projects across mission critical environments.
Acting as a central link between teams, customers, third parties and management, you drive operational excellence and you deliver quality Services.
Your focus: deliver, efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Your ultimate mission: turn complex technological solutions into sustainable business value.
You lead Operations & report to the General Manager & you partner closely with the Financial Director.
Job description
Project Planning & Operational Coordination
Build, maintain, and optimize the overall project planning along the year
Ensure efficient allocation of resources and anticipate workload peaks
Smooth project execution throughout the year by balancing workloads
Supervise field and engineering activities to ensure timelines are respected
Reduce the lead time between project kick-off and delivery
Coordinate engineering, procurement, field services, logistics, and partners
Guarantee a structured handover to the Services Team.
Project Profitability & Out-of-Scope Management
Analyse and monitor project profitability
Identify all out-of-scope activities
Defend the company's interests in financial negotiations
Support Project Managers in claims preparation
Ensure correct billing of extra work & Optimize ratio invoicable hours
Subcontractor & Supplier Management
Manage operational relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Defend the company's interests in negotiations.
Claim billing for extra work and challenge partners
Participate in partner evaluation and improvement.
Maintenance Contract Profitability
Collaborate with the Services Delivery Manager to improve accurate reporting
Monitor the performance of maintenance contracts
Identify all out-of-SLA activities, ensuring billing of all non-contracted activities
Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
Seek efficiency gains in processes, tools, and workflows.
Implement structured operational improvements.
Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies.
Required experience
Master of Science in Commercial/Business Engineering or IT/Telecom/ Electronic engineering, complemented by strong expertise in management/program/project Management and leadership
> 10 years proven experience in project profitability management. - Knowledge of project delivery processes. - Understanding of financial aspects. - Customer communication.
Experience in a project based environment (ICT/telecom/UC environments).
Experience working with the public sector - tender management.
People management skills - Talent Organizations skills.
