Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities
Demonstrable experience as an Auditor (3 years, Mid-level). You should have hands-on experience conducting audits, ideally within complex organizational environments. This includes planning audit activities, executing them according to standards, documenting findings, and presenting recommendations to management.
Higher education (Master or Bachelor) A degree in a relevant field such as environmental sciences, engineering, business administration, or equivalent through experience. This ensures a solid theoretical foundation to support practical audit work.
Demonstrable experience with methodology for reworking and implementing an audit method. Ability to adapt existing audit methodologies to specific organisational contexts. This includes refining processes, introducing new tools or frameworks, and ensuring that audit practices remain compliant with evolving standards and regulations.
Demonstrable experience auditing projects in a similar environment. Prior exposure to projects in comparable industries or public sector contexts. This ensures familiarity with sector-specific risks, compliance requirements, and operational challenges.
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2. Full professional proficiency in Dutch, enabling clear communication with stakeholders, drafting audit reports, and conducting interviews or workshops in the local language.
