Technical Reviewer


Job Description
The Technical Reviewer will be in charge of reviewing and interpreting product information. Identify required testing and evaluations, and evaluate material extraction and performance test results in support of certification and/or registration services.
The TR will assist Account Managers and Sales members with customer estimates and quotations, will communicate with relational staff and clients on technical issues relating to product compliance.
Responsibilities
Perform all activities and duties in accordance to the relevant requirements of ISO17025, ISO17065 and the NSF Quality Management System Policies and Procedures at all times.
Maintain the confidentiality of NSF Belgium, NSF Europe, & NSF International activities at all times, including that of its clients.
Act impartially at all times, declaring any potential conflict of interest to NSF.
Evaluate applications to identify testing requirements and provide quotation for the required services.
Work with account/client team to identify and ensure receipt of proper documentation and samples required.
Perform routine and complex product reviews.
Perform formulation reviews in support of material extracting testing.
Effectively interact with programme and laboratory personnel to ensure proper testing and associated documentation and database systems are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
Maintain documentation and database information relating for assigned areas.
Author and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned areas.
Contribute to an efficient and consistent certification process.
Stay up to date with new requirements, study them and take qualifying tests.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in natural or physical sciences, or engineering.
Demonstrated experience in problem solving and analytical thinking.
Knowledge of European or other drinking dater standards for products and materials in contact with drinking water will be a strong asset (harmonized standards).
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience in evaluating mechanical schematics / chemical formulations.
Excellent written communication skills, and ability to concisely identify and communicate technical information to clients and to internal colleagues.
Ability to work independently.
Experienced working with complex projects submissions.
Able to find pertinent information through huge amount of documentation.
High attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
English Fluent, any other EU language is an asset.
