ACENSI BELGIUM is looking for his client a Technical Tester
Key Responsibilities :
Manual Testing
Analyze and clarify functional and non-functional requirements
Design, execute, and lead test plans (Sanity, Smoke, Integration, Regression, End-to-End)
Identify defects, manage the full defect lifecycle, and ensure accurate reporting
Suggest functional and technical improvements
Database & API Testing
Perform database testing using SQL (SQL Server / Oracle)
Validate data flows using JSON and XML
Execute and lead API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools such as Postman, Swagger, ReadyAPI, and SOAP UI
Collaborate with development and other QA teams on API - related issues
Test Automation
Develop and execute automated tests (Frontend, API, and data validation)
Use automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright
Schedule and run automated test campaigns using Jenkins or Azure tools
QA Processes & Reporting
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
Produce clear QA and test reports for stakeholders
Communicate testing progress, risks, and results to management, product, and development teams
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Technical Tester
Strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Solid experience with SQL databases and API integrations (REST/SOAP)
Hands-on experience with testing and automation tools
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Education & Languages
Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT (or equivalent experience)
Professional proficiency in English
Working knowledge of French or Dutch
Work Conditions
Hybrid work model (minimum 2 days onsite per week)
