Forklift Technician – Day Shift

Are you an experienced forklift technician with knowledge of both electric and diesel engines? Do you want to contribute to a sustainable future in plastic recycling? Then we're looking for you at Rymoplast in Lommel

What will you do?

As a technician within our technical department, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all forklifts on our site. Thanks to your efforts, our internal transport equipment remains safe and runs efficiently.

In addition, we expect the following from you:

• You perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts;
• You troubleshoot and resolve issues;
• You carry out preventive maintenance;
• You order spare parts and manage stock;
• You record repairs, costs, and other important data in an internal registration system.

Who are we looking for?

You have completed a technical education and preferably have at least 5 years of experience as a forklift technician or in a similar role.

• You have good knowledge of both diesel engines and electrical systems;
• You work independently and are solution-oriented;
• You have a category B driving license and a valid forklift certificate.

You will work at our Rymoplast site in Lommel. Rymoplast Lommel is part of the Morssinkhof – Rymoplast group and is a leading player in Europe in the field of plastic recycling. Approximately 90 employees work at the Lommel site in total.
