Capacity Planner Air Freight

Your tasks include:

You are responsible for planning the bookings for cargo, for making the volume calculations and for drawing up the quotations.

• Daily coordination and optimization of BRU HUB airfreight Capacity
• Propose volume steering / Changes when trends occur
• Communicating with airlines to obtain competitive ad hoc rates and optimal shipping conditions
• Timely response of bookings & requests from both customers and suppliers
• Timely increases / cancellations and reductions / returns of Capacity
• Irregularity Report follow up (Planning items)
• Timely handover of instructions to Operations / Warehouse / Handlers and Road.
  Booking shipments through various platforms, including cargo web and other

Qualifications:

• Profound airfreight forwarding knowledge
• Airfreight consolidation (ULD / flight level) expertise
• Good communication skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and customers
• Good operational and analytical skills
• Creative and financially/service driven.
• Constantly trying to meet customer expectations
• Airfreight Security awareness
• Strong problem-solving mentality
• Stress resistant, flexible and adaptable.
