Private Banking

Context
We are looking for an intern who would like to join the Private Banking Front Care & Risk team within the Business Support Operations department. This department is the first place of call for all Investment and Business Officers (Private Bankers, Client Service Offices and Portfolio Managers) within Private Banking when they experience day-to-day issues; Be the go-to expert for our Front Office teams, delivering first-class operational, technical, and administrative support. You'll contribute to ensuring every request is handled efficiently, help structure and resolve operational challenges, and help guarantee seamless follow-up on client files—driving excellence in every client interaction.

The goal of the team is not only to help the front office staff with day-to-day events but to come up with forward looking solutions. As such, once you are familiar with some of the processes you will be expected to provide analysis, help drive and support small projects and internal improvement initiatives, proactively identifying and solving root cause issues to prevent recurrence and strengthen operational performance.

Your position
As part of the First line of Defense, you will be in charge of managing the risk events and the documentation of processes, risks and controls for Private Banking.

Your Role Will Include

• Detecting and correcting incorrect orders to ensure accuracy.
• Recording, analyzing and following up of operational incidents and any commercial gestures.
• Support in raising awareness and analyzing risk events to develop mitigation strategies.
• Participating in various projects based on your capacities, interests, and availability.

Your profile
Ideally, We Are Looking For The Following Profile

• You are currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree (Law, Economics or equivalent).
• You have a strong interest in Banking/Financial Services
• You have a proactive and pragmatic mindset.
• You have strong analytical skills (capacity to investigate and evaluate information; producing solutions and contributing to making decisions based on own findings).
• You can communicate effectively (top down and bottom up).
• You are a native Dutch or French speaker with excellent understanding of English.
• Team spirit is in your DNA and you would like to work in a challenging environment within a dynamic and collegial team
