QHSE Coordinator – Quality

At Cortina, we are looking for a driven QHSE Coordinator who gets energy from prevention, quality, environment and employee well-being.

As a QHSE Coordinator, you are responsible for developing, implementing and following up our policy regarding quality, safety, environment and well-being. You ensure compliance with legislation and relevant standards, and you contribute to a safe working environment where continuous improvement is key. You work closely together with departments and process owners, advise managers and act as the point of contact for employees. You report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

• You act as a prevention advisor (at least level 3).
• You manage the safety file.
• You keep safety procedures up to date.
• You carry out safety rounds and follow up on actions.
• You communicate with external safety services.

• You manage risks related to product and service quality with a focus on operational excellence.
• You boost customer satisfaction through effective complaint and feedback procedures.
• You coordinate internal and external audits, keep the quality system policy and documentation up to date, and ensure continuous improvement through close coordination with process owners.
• You provide training and increase quality awareness within the organisation.
• You ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations (e.g. AI, privacy, GDPR) and follow up on our certifications such as ISO, Ecovadis, etc.

• You contribute to well-being actions and prevention programmes.
• You provide advice on ergonomics, workstation design and mental workload.
• You collaborate with internal and external prevention services.

• You are the central point of contact for safety, sustainability and quality.
• You communicate clearly, proactively and purposefully with both internal and external stakeholders.

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (prevention, environment, quality, etc.) or equivalent through experience.
• You are a prevention advisor level 3 (or willing to obtain this certification).
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• You speak Dutch and English fluently.
• You have a strong knowledge of MS Office and an affinity with digitalisation.
• You combine strategic insight with a hands-on mindset.
• You work in a structured and accurate way and take initiative when needed.
• You closely follow trends and developments within QHSE and digitalisation.

Als QHSE-coördinator ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitwerken, implementeren en opvolgen van ons beleid rond kwaliteit, veiligheid, milieu en welzijn. Je waakt over de naleving van wetgeving en normeringen en zorgt voor een veilige werkomgeving waarin continue verbetering centraal staat. Je werkt nauw samen met afdelingen en proceseigenaars, adviseert leidinggevenden en bent het aanspreekpunt voor medewerkers. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Chief Operating Officer.

• Je treedt op als preventieadviseur (minstens niveau 3).
• Je beheert het dossier rond veiligheid.
• Je houdt de procedures rond veiligheid up-to-date.
• Je doet veiligheidsrondgangen en volgt acties op.
• Je communiceert met externe diensten rond veiligheid.
• Compliance & regelgeving: betrouwbaar en transparant kwaliteitssysteem
• Je beheert risico's rond product- en servicekwaliteit met oog op operational excellence.
• Je boost onze klantentevredenheid via doeltreffende klachten- en feedbackprocedures.
• Je coördineert interne en externe audits, houdt beleid en documentatie in het kwaliteitssysteem actueel en waarborgt continue verbetering door goede coördinatie met de proceseigenaars.
• Je geeft trainingen en vergroot het kwaliteitsbewustzijn binnen het team.
• Je bewaakt de naleving van alle relevante normen en regelgeving (bv. AI, privacy, GDPR) en doet de opvolging van onze certificeringen zoals ISO, EcoVadis, …

• Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een relevante richting (preventie, milieu, kwaliteit…) of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
• Je bent preventieadviseur niveau 3 (of bereid dit te behalen).
• Je hebt minstens 3 jaar relevante ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie.
• Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels.
• Je hebt sterke kennis van MS Office en affiniteit met digitalisatie.
• Je combineert strategisch inzicht met een hands-on mentaliteit.
• Je werkt gestructureerd en nauwkeurig en neemt initiatief waar nodig.
• Je volgt trends en evoluties binnen QHSE en digitalisering op de voet.
