About this role:

Embark on a significant opportunity in the rapidly growing Digital Grocery and Retail markets with Just Eat Takeaway. We're not merely entering the field;
we're actively positioning ourselves to be the industry leader. Currently, we're in search of a dynamic (senior) Key Account Manager to spearhead our latest venture focused on groceries. This role isn't just about participation;
it's about driving innovation and shaping the narrative of success in a market poised for substantial growth. The Just Eat Takeaway Retail and Grocery team manages the strategic vision, acquisition, and development of the largest grocery and convenience partnerships in Belgium.

These are some of the key components to the position:
  • Partnership Development: Source, negotiate, and sign deals with major grocers and convenience partners, establishing strong relationships to power commerce effectively;
  • Strategic Alignment: Identify which Just Eat Takeaway solutions align seamlessly with grocers' objectives, ensuring a tailored approach to meet their specific needs;
  • Sales Forecasting: Manage and report on an accurate sales forecast, providing insights that contribute to informed decision-making;
  • Long-Term Selling: Adopt a strategic, long-term approach to selling, with a focus on both initial sales and the subsequent expansion and renewal phases;
  • Performance Excellence: Achieve and exceed quota targets, driving exceptional performance and contributing to the overall success of the team;
  • Executive-Level Engagement: Sell solutions across the executive level, engaging with various decision-makers to establish a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
What will you bring to the team?
  • 3+ years of overall sales experience;
  • Advanced English and fluent in French and Dutch;
  • Proven expertise in retail, grocery & convenience or FMCG and strong experience partnering with sales top management to achieve sales goals;
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work constructively in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment and strong work ethics and passion for excellence.

Competitive Salary: A salary range of €70k - €88k (including OTE) with an uncapped performance bonus structure.

Hybrid Working: One day in the field, two days at the office in Brussels, and two days from home.
