We are looking for an enthusiastic copywriter/storyteller
Are you someone who can translate information into a compelling story or text? Can you easily immerse yourself in Flanders' tourist attractions (arts and heritage, nature experiences, culinary experiences, and cycling)? And can you seamlessly connect with our Flemish cities, villages, and (natural) areas?
We are looking for a storyteller/copywriter who can use compelling stories to convince international client high on their travel bucket lists. These texts will primarily be used on our website, , but depending on the target audience/perspective, they may also be used on other (primarily online) platforms.
You'll actively participate in editorial meetings, after which you'll independently write. You'll take our international marketing strategy, Client ' tone of voice , and SEO requirements into account. You'll deliver texts in Dutch and can also provide guidance to translators regarding our terminology list, text linking, and the translation of typical Flemish names and expressions.
Your creative writing skills are paired with writing texts in correct, grammatically correct Dutch. You'll write entirely new texts, but we can also engage you for final reviews or to update and/or translate existing texts into the right tone of voice . You can (often) do this directly on our online platform.
Profile
You have a creative narrative pen and preferably studied one of the following courses: communication, marketing, journalism, languages, ... or equivalent through experience.
You have at least 5 years of experience as a storyteller/copywriter/content marketer.
You are familiar with SEO copywriting (e.g. according to supplied keywords ).
Experience working with website CMS systems is a plus.
You don't shy away from the variety of this assignment. You're flexible and adhere strictly to agreed deadlines.
You are hands-on, you can work independently and you are an enthusiastic colleague to make our projects a success.
You are familiar with the tourist assets .
For delivering content (via a content calendar ) to stakeholders (such as Visit Europe), you can independently monitor timings and maintain contacts.
Must Have

Higher education (Master or Bachelor)
Language requirement: Dutch at CEFR level C2
Should Have
Experience in copywriting corporate, marketing, and/or product content

Experience carrying out assignments for tourism partners of Tourism Flanders
