Information Technology Support Specialist


We have partnered with an AV manufacturer that is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team. This role will support colleagues across Belgium and the UK, providing both on-site and remote IT assistance. You'll manage the full ticket lifecycle, collaborate with the Global IT team, and build strong relationships across the business through reliable, high-quality IT support.
Your Role
Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests across Belgium and UK locations
Manage the helpdesk, ensuring timely resolutions and clear, professional communication
Track recurring issues and provide feedback to relevant managers to prevent reoccurrence
Maintain IT asset inventory, including asset tagging and coordinating equipment logistics with vendors
Deliver end-user training on operating systems and productivity tools where appropriate
Ensure software licensing compliance and adherence to IT security best practices
About You
Proven experience in a service desk or helpdesk environment, where ticket quality and customer satisfaction were key metrics
Strong experience in a Windows Enterprise environment, including Active Directory and user account management at scale
Comfortable providing remote support, with excellent communication skills
Able to distinguish between local network issues and application-related problems
Experience supporting IP phone systems, including moves, adds, and changes
Education & Certifications
Associate Degree in Computer Information Technology or equivalent practical experience
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
