Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities
As a (Senior) Service Engineer, you support our customers across the Benelux with a strong focus on connectivity solutions. You play a key role in building, expanding, and maintaining transmission networks for network operators, enterprise customers, and utility companies.
You deliver high-quality technical support by installing and expanding transmission networks and maintaining existing customer installations. You support solution offerings by setting up and executing proof-of-concepts and provide technical training to customers to ensure optimal use of our solutions.
You stay up to date with relevant competitive solutions, products, and services and translate this knowledge into added value for customers. In this role, you collaborate closely with internal teams and act as a technical point of contact for customers.
Requirements:
Strong expertise in routing and switching (preferably Nokia equipment)
Experience with telecom transport equipment is a strong asset
Innovative and creative mindset with commercial awareness
Strong communication skills and a true team player
Creative problem solver with a strong focus on results
Accurate in reporting and documentation
Willing to travel abroad occasionally
Experience in one or more of the following domains: Optical Transmission (C/DWDM), Packet Optical Transport (Carrier Ethernet, MPLS), Network Management Software
