We are urgently looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Reporting Developer, who will join an EU Institution in Brussels (50% onsite). Knowledge • Good knowledge of data warehouse concepts, including the design, development, and maintenance of reporting-oriented data structures. • Good knowledge of relational database management systems used in data warehousing and reporting contexts. • Good knowledge of SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Good knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools, including dashboards, reports, and analytical views. • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration techniques. • Knowledge of data modelling techniques (conceptual, logical, and physical). • Understanding of data management and data governance principles, including data documentation, metadata management, and data lifecycle considerations. • Understanding of data quality principles, including data validation and monitoring. • Experience in large-scale or corporate data environments is considered an asset. Skills • Ability to analyse, structure, and formalise business and reporting requirements. • Ability to work autonomously on assigned tasks while reporting progress, risks, and issues in a structured and timely manner. • Ability to work with a high degree of rigour and method, including compliance with documentation standards, naming conventions, and governance rules. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data consistency and reliability. • Ability to communicate clearly and cooperate effectively with business analysts, data owners, data stewards, project stakeholders, and service providers. • Ability to operate effectively in an international and multicultural environment. • Ability to participate actively in multilingual meetings. • Very good command of English, both oral and written. • High degree of discretion and integrity, given the sensitive nature of the data handled.
