Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a accounting/controlling role within an international company? Then you might be the GL accountant - Junior Controller we are looking for at anyseals – a dynamic and international supplier of sealing solutions.
Your Role
As a GL accountant - Junior Controller, you support the financial operations of anyseals and contribute to accurate reporting, closing activities, and process optimization. You work closely with Finance, HR, and Management, ensuring reliable financial data and helping to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the general ledger and monitor balance sheet accounts.
Book payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related provisions in close cooperation with HR or the social secretariat.
Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities, ensuring accurate reconciliations (intercompany, banks, payroll).
Support the preparation of VAT declarations and the annual audit.
Contribute to monthly reporting and KPI monitoring; analyze and explain variances.
Assist in improving and automating financial processes and system integrations (e.g., payroll and ERP tools).
Ensure accurate and timely financial data for management reporting.
Forecast and budget process and support financial simulations.
Your Profile:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
First experience in accounting, audit, or controlling is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in financial data.
Good knowledge of Excel and affinity with digital tools and automation.
Accurate, structured, and discreet in handling confidential information.
Proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow.
Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
A good mindset and mentality are essential: proactive, eager to learn, and solution-oriented.
