Nexeo is looking for a Junior KYC Analyst – Group Life & Individual Life
To support AML periodic recertification activities within a Life Insurance environment, Nexeo is looking for a Junior KYC Analyst to strengthen compliance operations.
You will contribute to ensuring regulatory compliance by conducting customer due diligence and identifying potential financial crime risks.
Mission Context
The mission focuses on AML periodic and event-driven recertification processes for Group Life and Individual Life clients.
You will work within a compliance-driven environment, contributing to risk mitigation and regulatory adherence.
Your Role
KYC & Due Diligence
Perform KYC checks related to periodic and event-driven reviews.
Collect, verify, and assess customer identification documentation and beneficial ownership information.
Conduct customer risk assessments and determine appropriate risk classifications.
Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk profiles (PEPs, sanctions exposure, high-risk industries or jurisdictions).
Screen customers against sanctions lists, PEP databases, and adverse media tools.
Review alerts, determine true matches, and escalate when necessary.
Identify potential financial crime risks and escalate concerns to Compliance or AML teams with clear rationale and supporting evidence.
Contribute to meeting KPIs and ensure timely completion of periodic recertification activities.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, Compliance, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in KYC, AML, Compliance, or Customer Due Diligence.
Strong understanding of AML regulatory requirements.
Experience with KYC/AML screening tools (World-Check, Finscan, Comply Advantage, etc.) is an asset.
