HR Partner Benelux


Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Partner to join our HR team responsible for Benelux . In this role, you will lead BeLux with full generalist HR responsibilities and partner with business leaders to support the overall business strategy, based on strong business acumen. You will also provide HR support for the Netherlands as required.

This is a full-time position based in Brussels. Lenovo’s hybrid working model includes three office days in person on average. Travel is limited (approximately 20%) and will mainly involve meetings with managers and employees in our offices in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with the local management team to support their organizational needs based on Lenovo's strategy, objectives and priorities
  • Independently manage the full HR employee life-cycle: support the business to implement people plans for recruitment, development, performance management, succession planning, etc.
  • Provide expert advice on Belgium/Luxembourg (and Netherlands as required) labour law and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Support talent acquisition efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
  • Help develop and grow employees by participating in the people/career planning process
  • Support the communication and rollout of global HR programs
  • Lead and participate in the development and implementation of country-specific programs and policies aligned to local needs
  • Act as a change agent to support Lenovo's services-led transformation
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-based decision making
  • Act as an ambassador for the Lenovo culture and values, interacting with Payroll, Compensation Benefits, HR Service Centre and the EMEA HR team

The position includes a mix of HR lifecycle tasks and operational work (e.g., recruitment process management in Avature or Workday).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role
  • Experience in a multinational matrixed organization, preferably in IT
  • In-depth knowledge of Belgium labour law; comprehensive understanding of Netherlands and Luxembourg labour law
  • Strong English skills (speaking and writing); fluent in Dutch and ideally French; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team; strong coaching, analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to manage multiple tasks
