Senior Java Developer

For one of the international institutions in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer with +8 years of Java experience to join our fast-growing team.

EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates need to be willing to relocate to Luxembourg.

A work permit is not provided. This role is open for employees and contractors. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Application design/analysis, component modelling, coding, unit testing, functional testing, documentation and support
• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities
• Conduct research to find ways to improve operations
• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance
• Took part in the architecture design and implement new Web Services
• Management and assistance in testing, deployment and configuration of the IS

Profile

• Master's degree in a related field
• +8 years of specific expertise in Java
• +4 years of experience with MicroServices
• Strong experience in Spring framework, Hibernate / JPA
• Hands‑on experience with Jira, Atlassian Confluence and SQL
• Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure) is an asset
