Security Engineer

Join our client's security team in Roeselare. As a Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in protecting digital assets and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses
  • Implement and manage security monitoring tools and SIEM solutions
  • Develop and maintain incident response procedures
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC
  • Stay up to date with emerging threats and security trends

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
  • Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
  • Understanding of network security and secure architecture
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus
