You are energized by productive brainstorming sessions with management, in-depth data analysis and agile consulting. You’re quick to understand business challenges and propose business and technological solutions to help improve finance processes.

You’re on the ball, you’re flexible , and you can alleviate the uncertainty our clients face on their business transformation journeys — you’re there to guide them in the right direction!

In this client-facing role, you’ll play a key part in driving finance process improvement and developing strategies for our clients in a wide range of industries. This means it’s key to understand the business and finance processes of our clients, and how to drive them forward.

You’ll immerse yourself in everything related to the CFO’s agenda, from transactional excellence to business insight generation and much more besides. You’ll have a clear focus on the goals that are set and you’ll play a key role in finance transformation and performance management projects : from strategy definition, assessment, process and roadmap (re)design to implementation of operating models, cost management, planning, budgeting, and reporting, etc.

In addition to ongoing projects with clients, you’ll also have the opportunity to participate in pre-sales meetings and to promote our services to new clients, etc.

As a Finance and Performance professional, you’ll be joining our Finance and Performance Management team that advises companies on how to optimize their finance function and related business processes, identify the right technology and support their implementation. This is a fast-growing area at delaware, with lots of opportunities for you to show off your skills and grow!

Just so you know: delaware has offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Lummen, Liège, and Wavre , but we also spend a lot of time working with our clients on-site . The job is done wherever the work gets done!

Is there a match?

• have minimum 6 years of experience in Consulting, Finance and controlling and/or knowledge on Finance business processes and can draw on that background;
• have a certain affinity with the IT side of finance processes and software solutions (something you’ve likely already developed in previous roles);
• count analytical and problem-solving skills as your strong suit;
• are a true team player , eager to work in a client-facing, quality-driven environment
• are fluent in English and French and/or Dutch

• Helping IT managers shape their landscape —analyzing needs and recommending scalable solutions

• Leading discussions and supporting decision-making —balancing business priorities with technical possibilities
