Product Owner

Mission & Context

The GDC supports Euroclear Technology by providing scalable, predictable and value-driven delivery capabilities.
In this hybrid role, the candidate combines Product Ownership, Domain Expertise, and Community Leadership to ensure robust, well-governed and data-driven ways of working across the GDC.

The role is centered on:

• Leading the WoW (Ways of Working) squad as Product Owner,
• Acting as domain expert on ServiceNow (Snow) and PMRM,
• Driving standards, alignment and knowledge sharing as CoP Lead for the EDO CoP.

The position plays a key role in reinforcing delivery maturity, operational excellence, and consistency of practices across the GDC.

Core Responsibilities

1) Product Owner – WoW Squad (Value & Prioritisation)

• Own the product vision, roadmap and backlog for the WoW squad, covering delivery practices, tooling, and standards that support GDC performance and predictability.
• Continuously prioritise features and PBIs based on value, risk, dependencies, and GDC-wide needs.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable backlog items with well-defined acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
• Act as the primary interface with stakeholders, ensuring transparency on priorities, progress and delivered value.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with Euroclear's Agile Operating Model.

2) Domain Expert – ServiceNow (Snow) & PMRM

• Serve as subject-matter expert for ServiceNow and PMRM , ensuring correct usage, consistency, and alignment with group standards.
• Contribute to the definition, evolution and documentation of processes, data models and tooling practices related to Snow and PMRM.
• Support squads and stakeholders in understanding dependencies, impacts and best practices linked to these domains.
• Actively identify improvement opportunities and drive their implementation in collaboration with relevant squads and platform teams.

3) CoP Lead – EDO Community of Practice

• Lead the EDO Community of Practice, setting its vision, objectives and yearly roadmap.
• Animate the community by organising sessions, sharing best practices, and fostering cross-team learning and alignment.
• Ensure consistency of EDO-related practices, metrics and ways of working across the GDC.
• Act as a bridge between operational teams, domain experts and leadership to promote continuous improvement and standardisation.

Ways of Working

• Operate fully within Euroclear's Agile Operating Model, promoting transparency, collaboration and empirical decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with Tribe Lead, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Architects and other CoP Leads.
• Balance hands-on delivery with community leadership and strategic alignment.
• Promote a culture of ownership, learning and continuous improvement across squads and communities.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment, preferably at squad or multi-team level.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow and PMRM, in a delivery or operational context.
• Demonstrated experience in leading or animating communities of practice, chapters or transversal initiatives.
• Solid understanding of delivery governance, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

• Strong domain expertise with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable guidance.
• Facilitation and leadership skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Structured and pragmatic mindset; comfortable with standards, processes and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented attitude.
