Description
You analyze current Finance and Accounting workflows and suggest enhancements in partnership with the designated consultancy team;
You assist in the selection and rollout of a comprehensive solution from start to finish;
You convert business needs into clear functional and technical documentation;
You lead or participate in design efforts, which include scoping, specifications, and functional architecture;
You coordinate with various stakeholders including Finance, Accounting, Procurement, IT, software providers, and system integrators;
You ensure the tracking of deliverables, timelines, and interdependencies;
You provide support during the testing, implementation, and change management phases;
You serve as the primary contact point for the Finance Transformation initiative.
Profile
Fluent in french and english;
7 to 12 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, particularly within the asset management sector;
Extensive expertise in finance and accounting, specifically within the context of asset management operations;
In-depth knowledge of financial, accounting, and procurement workflows, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Activity-Based Costing, Budgeting, Forecasting, financial closing procedures, reporting standards, and regulatory compliance;
Demonstrated senior-level proficiency in finance-related projects within the financial services or asset management domain is advantageous;
Capacity to assume a pivotal role in projects, offering direction and strategic recommendations for solutions;
Experience in collaborating on cross-departmental initiatives;
Proven experience in finance or accounting within an asset management framework;
Comprehensive understanding of finance, accounting, and procurement workflows, encompassing General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Activity-Based Costing, Budgeting/Forecasting, closing, reporting, and regulatory compliance;
Profound insights into the operational and regulatory hurdles faced by the asset management industry;
Exceptional abilities in coordination and communication;
A leadership-oriented mindset, capable of serving as a subject-matter expert;
High level of independence, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong focus on achieving results;
Documented experience in IT finance initiatives, including ERP systems, accounting software, and reporting solutions;
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and critically assess proposed solutions;
Solid grasp of IT project management lifecycles encompassing scoping, development, testing, and implementation phases;
Proficiency in project management frameworks and tools, particularly Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.
