Technical & Commercial Officer in Hasselt & Liège

Your role

As a Technical & Commercial Officer, you will be the link between customers and the internal organization. You will be primarily responsible for a large key account.

Your responsibilities

• Point of contact for a large French-speaking key account.
• Providing technical product information to customers and colleagues.
• Preparing and following up on quotations.
• Processing incoming orders and organizing delivery schedules.
• Contacting potential customers by telephone and maintaining existing customer relationships.
• Providing commercial support to the field staff.
• Collaborating on projects and ad hoc assignments in cooperation with the sales manager.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or commercial field, or equivalent through relevant experience in the mechanical industry.
• Bilingual in Dutch & French; basic knowledge of German is a plus.
• Strong technical insight; knowledge of hydraulics is a major asset.
• Customer-oriented with a commercial mindset and an eye for sales opportunities.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Strong administrative skills, accurate, orderly, and well-organized.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and experience with customer portals.
• Analytical, structured, and stress-resistant.
• Dynamic, driven, and skilled at setting priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus but not a must.
