FIELD SERVICE PLANNER
Purpose of the Role
In the competitive world of high volume and high speed production lines, Krones distinguishes itself not only through top class machinery, but also through the way we organise and coordinate customer needs and urgencies. Our Field Service Engineers (FSEs) deliver strong value through their expertise, and this value comes to life only when their work is properly planned.
On a day-to-day basis, the Krones' Planning Team is matching Customer needs with the right competencies at the right moment, supported by complete and reliable information.
Each of our Planners is orchestrating end-to-end across:
Stakeholders (Project Managers (PM), Customer Care Managers (CCM), Business Support, Procurement)
Systems (Salesforce, SAP, Resco)
Internal and External FSEs
What awaits you?
You strive for reliable and high quality service delivery, working towards the realization of key performance indicators such as Customer satisfaction, FSE satisfaction, first time right planning, plan stability and reduced avoidable idle time.
You listen actively to both customers and FSE's, understand their realities and constraints, and translate this into concrete proposals for improvement in planning quality and communication.
• You help safeguard planning quality and stability by applying standard work, checking completeness of requests, enforcing planning rules and ensuring that commitments remain realistic and achievable.
You contribute to process adoption and continuous improvement by applying the defined planning processes consistently, identifying recurring issues and proposing targeted adjustments that improve clarity, flow and performance.
You use your knowledge and judgement to correctly interpret customer or internal stakeholder requests, and to match them with the right competencies and resources — internally, through subsidiaries, or external partners — according to the established sourcing sequence.
You communicate timely, clearly and accurately on confirmations, changes, delays or risks to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring predictability and transparency.
You operate efficiently across multiple tools and systems (Salesforce, SAP, Resco, Outlook, internal planning tools) and maintain accurate, up to date administrative and communication records that support stable end to end execution.
You contribute with
At least a bachelor degree, preferably technically oriented.
Relevant field service planning experience (scheduling under constraints, stakeholder management, and escalations) in a B2B industrial context. Experience in the food & beverage industry is an asset; Your understanding of Field Service (the typical job types, safety/tooling basics, and how competencies map to tasks… ) so you can plan first time right. Being a hands on technician background is a plus, not a prerequisite.
Your fluency in at least 2 out of 3 languages (Dutch or French, English) and/or your ability to reach an acceptable level within a few months in the third language;
Your computer literacy and ease with which you effectively use and switch between several softwares / systems. Hands on experience with SAP, Salesforce or equivalent, is a plus.

Your organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and have strong attention to detail to ensure that information is correctly and timely passed on to all relevant stakeholders;

Your discernment in managing the issues that come your way on a daily basis which will help you to work in a structured manner, communicate clearly and handle all the administrative tasks associated with the role.
Environment & Context
Open-ended, full-time contract with possibility to work from home after a first integration period.
This position is based out of the Krones' Belgium office, based in Louvain-la-Neuve. Your presence in the office is recommended at least 3 – 4 days a week.
Traveling is not foreseen for this role except for training and / or exceptional reasons.
