HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administration Officer, you will play a crucial role within our dynamic HR team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and maintaining efficient HR administrative operations for a population of approximately 200 employees across Retail, Office, and Manufacturing environments. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as a key point of contact for employee queries related to HR administration, providing accurate information and escalating complex issues as needed.

  • Overseeing the comprehensive management of personnel administration files (digital and physical), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

  • Drafting, reviewing, and issuing a variety of HR-related documents, including employment contracts, addenda, and other official correspondence.

  • Managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate calculation and disbursement of salaries, bonuses, and other compensation components.

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor legislation, payroll regulations, tax requirements, and social security contributions.

  • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of HR databases, ensuring all employee information is up-to-date and correctly recorded.

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR administrative and payroll processes.

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the HR team and actively participating in HR projects and initiatives.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in HR administration and payroll.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing end-to-end payroll processes.

  • Essential experience with an HRIS/payroll system; experience with SD Worx payroll system, UKG (Workforce Ready) and Workday is a plus.

  • General knowledge of Belgian labor legal legislation.

  • Proficiency in general computer use and the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong ability to use and create formulas in Excel.

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

  • A high level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities, coupled with a strong willingness to learn and develop.

  • The ability to work autonomously while also being a collaborative team player.

  • A proactive, problem-solving approach with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • French mother tongue and fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
