Context An independent energy infrastructure group is looking to strengthen its Network Team to support a large-scale, business-critical IT and OT environment operating 24/7 across several European countries. The team is responsible for designing, securing, operating and modernising network infrastructures, from data centres to cloud connectivity. The mission supports strategic projects such as WAN modernisation, cloud integration and secure connectivity for industrial and office environments. ResponsibilitiesOperate within a team supporting company activities running 24/7Prepare, execute and document network changes in IT and OT environmentsParticipate in the deployment, operation and maintenance of network systemsSupport colleagues in Belgium and other European locationsContribute to network projects (data centres, cloud connectivity, WAN modernisation)Work across multiple networking domains including routing, switching and security Technical skills Must haveBackground in computer sciencePerfect command of Dutch or French and fluent EnglishIn-depth Firewall expertise, CheckPoint mandatoryStrong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, ISIS, Mst, etc.)Experience with cloud technologiesExperience with Python and/or Ansible for automationKnowledge of TACACS and RADIUS serversKnowledge of backend tools for monitoring, NAC and central SyslogAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamWillingness to take part in a standby role (max. 1 week out of 4)Driving licence and own carAbility to travel to Belgian sites when required Should haveExperience in mixed IT and OT environmentsFamiliarity with Cisco networking ecosystemsExperience supporting international teams or multi-site environments Nice to haveKnowledge of Juniper technologiesExperience with Palo Alto FirewallsExposure to tools such as Zabbix, Elastic or Cisco ISE
