For a specific project within the European Commission, we are looking for a heavyweight Drupal Backend Developer. We are not looking for a generalist web developer, but a specialist who knows the Drupal architecture inside out and can translate complex business logic into robust code. While the primary focus is on backend architecture, we expect a 'Full-Stack' mindset: you understand how your backend communicates with high-end front-end frameworks and take responsibility for the overall technical integrity. Your technical stack Drupal Backend (Core Focus): In-depth knowledge of Drupal (9/10+) core, custom module development, and complex API integrations. You are an expert in PHP and the Symfony architecture within the Drupal ecosystem Templating: Extensive experience with Twig to create a seamless bridge to the front-end Front-end Frameworks: * React: Absolute priority. You have experience with headless or decoupled solutions Angular: Proficiency at a level that allows you to be immediately deployed in existing environments Advanced JavaScript: Strong proficiency is required Languages: English (fluent) Design & User experience Despite your deep backend focus, you have a keen eye for the end user: You possess strong knowledge of UX/UI principles and apply them practically in your technical decisions.
