afarax is looking for a freelance Windows Server Engineer. We need you! The project Our client in the utilities sector, is seeking an experienced Windows System Engineer to strengthen their team. Function description He/she will manage and use the TrendMicro security suite, with an important focus on managing the host-based Firewall (and this extends to other operating systems) He/she will manage the SCCM environments He/she will manage the Windows Remote Desktop environments He/she will manage, design, harden and support the Windows server operating systems in the environments He/she will be part of third-level support for all these domains He/she must be able to write and troubleshoot complex scripts Is this you? Operational experience on a senior level (!) within a Microsoft Windows Server environment is a must Proven knowledge of and experience with Active Directory, SCCM and TrendMicro or similar security products Good understanding of host-based Firewall (Not network Firewall!!) and security in general is a requirement Proven experience in similar sized enterprises (+/- 2000 servers, 5000 users) Advanced knowledge about scripting (PowerShell) Must be able to speak and understand: French and Dutch (one must be native) English and German is a plus Experience with MECM, SCOM, Splunk, PRTG, Linux, ADFS, Infoblox, Big-IP F5 are a plus Must be a team player Must have planning and organizational skills Must be able to troubleshoot technical problems Must be able to work independently Must be customer minded Able to learn new products and environments quickly Able to write and validate processes and documentation Must be accountable and is Not a 9-to-5 worker How afarax supports you?
