Pediatrician Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Pediatrician Assistant to support our paediatric team in delivering high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents.

This role plays a key part in clinical preparation, patient monitoring, vaccination support, and ensuring a safe, child-centred environment for families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the pediatrician during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures
• Prepare examination rooms, instruments, and medical documentation
• Measure and record paediatric vital signs, including height, weight, temperature...
• Support vaccination procedures and ensure accurate medical documentation
• Monitor child comfort and provide reassurance to patients and parents
• Maintain strict hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols
• Coordinate appointments and support clinical administrative tasks

Requirements

• Previous experience in paediatrics, family medicine, or clinical assistance (preferred)
• Strong communication skills with children and parents
• High level of empathy, patience, and professionalism
• Organised, accurate, and able to work in a structured clinical environment
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Nice to Have

• Certified Medical Assistant or Healthcare Assistant qualification
• Experience in childhood vaccination programmes
• Knowledge of child development milestones
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
