Over de job – Als Validation Technician ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren en ondersteunen van validatie-activiteiten op technische installaties en systemen. Je werkt praktisch en analytisch: je bouwt een stage mechanisch op, meet en test de stage en bent in staat deze resultaten te interpreteren. Verder onderzoek je waarom bepaalde input- of outputsignalen niet correct functioneren. Tot slot vertaal je testresultaten naar duidelijke conclusies en help je zo de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid van onze systemen te garanderen.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Assembleren en bekabelen van motion stages
• Opmeten en controleren van motion stages
• Uitvoeren van validatietesten op mechanische en elektromechanische systemen
• Troubleshooten wanneer input- of outputsignalen niet correct werken
• Interpreteren en rapporteren van testresultaten
• Solderen en aansluiten van kabels voor testopstellingen
• Ondersteunen bij het opbouwen en aanpassen van meetopstellingen.

Vaardigheden

• Graduaat of Professionele Bachelor in (Elektro)mechanica of Elektronica (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring)
• Een eerste ervaring is een plus maar geen vereiste
• Je hebt een praktische, technische ingesteldheid en hands-on mentaliteit
• Basisvaardigheden in kabels solderen en aansluiten is mooi meegenomen
• Je beschikt over een sterk analytisch en probleemoplossend denkvermogen
• Je kan nauwkeurig werken en resultaten correct interpreteren
• Je kan goed je plan trekken en autonoom werken. Je zelfstandig verdiepen in bepaalde materie doe je graag
• Je bent bereid om voor je job te reizen naar het buitenland
• Je hebt sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, voornamelijk in het Engels.

About the Role – As a Validation Technician, you are responsible for performing and supporting validation activities on technical installations and systems. You work both practically and analytically: you will mechanically assemble a stage, measure and test it, and be able to interpret the results. You will also investigate why certain input or output signals are not functioning correctly. Finally, you will translate test results into clear conclusions, helping to guarantee the quality and reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and wiring motion stages
• Measuring and inspecting motion stages
• Performing validation tests on mechanical and electromechanical systems
• Troubleshooting when input or output signals are not working correctly
• Interpreting and reporting test results
• Soldering and connecting cables for test setups
• Supporting the construction and modification of measurement setups.

Skills

• A Graduate's degree or Professional Bachelor's degree in (Electro)mechanics or Electronics (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience is a plus but not required
• You have a practical, technical mindset and a hands-on mentality
• Basic soldering and wiring skills are a plus
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You can work accurately and interpret results correctly
• You are a good planner and work autonomously. You enjoy exploring specific topics independently
• You are willing to travel abroad for your job
• You have strong communication skills, primarily in English.
